Mark Lint

Be there for Mark Lint’s Album Release Party: “Songs from The Partially Examined Life”. No cover.

Madisonian Mark Linsenmayer, veteran front-man of local bands Madison Lint (2001-2004) and New People (2006-2013) and host of two nationally reknowned podcasts, The Partially Examined Life and Nakedly Examined Music, remerges onto the Madison scene with this special show to celebrate the release of his 16th album. Featuring Rei Tangko on violin and keyboards, and The Getaway Drivers’ Ken Keeley (bass) and Iris Hutchings (harmony vocals).

Mark writes wry lyrics delivered in a resonant baritone with memorable melodies, with a folky-acoustic style that often sprawls into groove, Latin, and even punk. Think Elvis Costello, Barenaked Ladies, Dave Matthews.

Original music is always better if you know the songs, so look Mark up on iTunes or Spotify, or dive into his vast catalog at
